opus #5 (first movement)

Last night has been nothing short of boring.  No debates (though team c was itching to come up with a thousand and one arguments), just a few stuff on the Singapore trip and (sigh) more expenses.

So i guess that left me to do one thing the moment i came back home: play the violin till the wee hours of the morning.  It’s very addicting and sometimes frustrating.  The thought of not being able to master J.S Bach’s three minuets in one night can be maddening.  Moreover, the thought of not being able to learn Grossec’s ‘Gavotte’ in record time is disheartening.

Blame it on my dear teacher for posing such a challenge–or blame it on me for being so passionate and addicted to playing the violin.

My fingers hurt.  My wrists are on the verge of snapping off.  I woke up this morning with my arm throbbing with an incessant pain.  I’ve gone back to practicing and annoying the neighbors in the process.

This is all for now, gotta practice.
